Steelers hold on to outlast the Ravens 27-22 Reclaiming the Division

Aaron Rodgers threw for 284 yards and a touchdown including a rushing touchdown in his best game as a Steeler, taking sole possession of first place in the AFC North, squeaking by the Ravens when a late Ravens touchdown was overturned with the assistance of replay.

Isaiah Likely caught a pass from Lamar Jackson that seemed to be a touchdown for the Ravens but, Joey Porter Jr. of the Steelers jarred the ball free.

Baltimore (6-7) held their own defensively, drove the ball down to the Steelers 30-yard line, but Lamar Jackson took a sack with no timeouts remaining as the clock expired.

Aaron Rodgers scored his first rushing touchdown since 2022 on a 1-yard run putting the Steelers up 7-3.

Not much has changed offensively for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. The offense continued to stall out for the majority of the first half, and although they showed signs of life, Baltimore found themselves in a tight spot. The same Ravens team that started 1-5 then rolled with five wins in a row, only to lose back-to-back home division games against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

With a 17-9 lead at halftime, Rodgers found Metcalf for a 41-yard pickup leading up to a field goal, but Keaton Mitchell got loose for a 56-yard gain for the Ravens, who made it 20-16 on the 4-yard pass from Jackson to Likely.

The Ravens nearly rallied from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter but with the two big reviews that went against them the Steelers were able to win the game 27-22. They will meet up again in Pittsburgh January 4th.
